My experience learning English at the university

In general, my experience with English was a positive experience. The work in the universities was hard, but I learnt many relevant things about grammatical and vocabulary topics. On the one hand, my results in the university were goods, but on the other hand I had a little time for to do other activities. Moreover, the time that I saw to my family was very little.

One biggest challenges in the term past was to share with my family and, the same time, to answer to university. I called to my friends saying that I didn't go to the parties with them, because I had to study for english. However, the way of education in this subject was very enjoyed.

The work in the blog is a very creative way to learn. I learnt to redact better and understand english by this. Also, it's great to use the new technologies in learning process, because we need to integrate our knowledge in the "informatic society", discovering new ways for share that we propose and think.

I really like that you let us talk about ourselves, our hobbies, opinions, feelings and expectatives. If people learnt by the own experience and self-conscience, the process will have better results than another unpersonalized and not auto-constructive way of education. So, all these arguments make me be sure that this course has been very good. I must recognize that in this way of work; I had problems because I don't have internet. Moreover, my hourly in the university, the only place where I have free internet connection, is very busy. Although. I learnt many things and also, is very enjoy!!!!!!! ^^ :)

In conclusion, I can say, that this subject is necessary because is a important language but this course needs a lot time, and these don’t  allow share with my family or to have time for the other things, outside of the university. Clearly, is good and necessary subject, but is important make compatible the schedule.  

The planet and thepollution

I'm not an activist environmental groups, but I think that the care of the environment is very important in these times, because the pollution is one of the biggest problems today. For example, the ozone layer is badly damaged and that's bad for us (UV rays and because it affects the land, climate change and melting of glaciers).For example, I prefer to use bicycles or to walk. The cars do not really like me. I like to walk around town a lot and also do much exercise is healthy for body and mind. I do it because it is the only exercise I do but be overweight and I don't want diseases when they are old. I also recycle and I let the trash in appropriate places.I do not participate in movements for nature, because I have not time, and because I have insecure of what they do with the money I can spend them.I think it is very important, because it is the planet where we live, and we are destroying it. I do not like.I also like the struggle for animal rights, and that I think are very mistreated. For example, many people got a facebook video of a woman who pulled into the river a lot puppies. It was very sad.Those are important things to consider. I do not want this in the future, children and adolescents can to have a peaceful and beautiful world to live. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery that maybe they can not see because of pollution. I find that it is not fair.We must protect the planet and the environment, we do not know when things are back to being beaten.

My Favorite Painter and Painting... :D

The art is a one expression of nature, of the construction, of the emotions of the being human, that is, is a way to express, not only representing something but create it. The art has always attracted my attention, and I like it!!

Since when I had six or seven years ago, more or less, I like much paint and draw, although, never I take a workshop or class of paint. I think that I draw very well. I have a drawing in my facebook. This is one of my designs:

I have draughtsmanship. For this, I like the art. I like the modern art…well…I like the art in general, to make a critic including to all artist is very impossible, each one with their tastes. For example, many people believe that Picasso is crazy or is a person very strange, but is true that yours creations are very important. This is modern art, able to break the prevailing structures.

That's the reason why I believe that the grafittis are one way of art, an expression of popular art that burst in the city, where the culture is few accessible.

One of my preferred artists is Carlos Maturana, also called Bororo. He is a Chilean painter of the 80’s decade. He pertains to a group of painters very famous in Chile and their tendency is baptized as “Chilean’s Neo-Expressionism”. He was born in Santiago on 10 November 1953. Bororo integrate a group known as Generation Advanced Scene 80 with Samy Benmayor, Omar Gatica, Matias Pinto D'Aguiar, Ismael Frigerio, among others. They have the intention to recover the painting, gesture and playful art, lost in previous years.

One of my favorite paintings is “El Farol”.  This painting is very ludic, moreover, recovery the essence of the children’s spontaneity! Is a beautiful piece of art!  

Dementia: the human cost of each diagnosis

This article we talk about dementia. Andrea Guilles explains that the dementia is a devasting ill than other ageing-related illnesses.

The Dementia, in this case we speak of Alzheimer is a slowly and progressive disease. It commonly affects the elderly, causing memory loss and inability to think, reason, remember, etc.. This article presents a story of a family that has cared for a sick relative. The sick people require much care what people wear in charge of these people. It is a mental health problem very important in our times. Today you need a register of people with this disease and better living conditions. Access to health is important.

Caring for these people is time consuming. Working 24 hours to the day, 7 days to the week. It is very complicated.The diagnosis is very important because it really changes the life of a person, and so it is important good service, proper health programs, effective services and better support. But that does not happen. This is not acceptable and should do better. It is a public health problem of our time.

What to do/ Where to go in Santiago.....

I find that Santiago is a beautiful city and there are a lot places that to visit. Santiago is a Great City, the capital of Chile, and the center of the activity of country. In this place, there are typical locations that a foreigner tourist can`t leave off to visit.
For example, a typical place of burial, very interesting is the Santiago’s Cathedral. Is a construction very ancient, standing since the Colonia. Is a monument that tries to imitate to the European constructions.
In the touristic aspects, Santiago is very development. Enclosed, exists a institution of government, called SERNATUR. This office have the mission of surrender information about the locations more interesting for to visit.
I am not known why, but there are people that hate this city. I find genial!
Other location is La Quebrada de Macul, is a campsite, very splendid. In this place there is a river and a lot trees, and is placed in the sector of Peñalolén. The office for tourist gives an opening to whoever and the best is that entrance for free
One of favorite’s locations is the Forestal Park. Is a great rest area, and all is full of green. Moreover, many cultural acts are carried out, such as free concerts, cultural events, discourses, circus presentations and more.

My Favourite Music...

Well, I don’t have one favorite kind of music. I like a lot styles, for example, the classic rock, indie, trip-hop, hip-hop and electronic. Although, i like the strange music, with rare sounds and instruments.
I play the acoustic guitar, and I use different software for edit music. Also, I like buy many cd's. I have  a lot disc and one of my favorite album is Mezzanine of Massive Attack. This disc was released in 1998 and contains themes as Angel and Group Four, and is characterized because generally are women who sing, the melodies are slow and the dark arrangements. These kind of music i like it. My favourite kind of music are for relaxed listening and lying in bed.
The integrants of group that generally i like are Dj’s and they worked together long ago. Among them we find to Blur, Horance Andy, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tricky and more.

A favourite group is Massive Attack. These group has about five disk published. The last album was released this year and is a great disc what you must to hear!!!! The mixed all kinds of music that like me.

Massive Attack's style is often considering as a experimental genre. Your music is very strange and in 2005 made his first concert in Chile, but I could not go because he had no money. But have all his albums and always listen.

I recommend listen this kind of music, at first, is a little strange, but with time results a great experience, especially when you want to do nothing.

The music is all for me.The music has accompanied me in every moment of my life. for every feeling or I have a song I always remember.

A Country that I want to know…Greece

Well, I like get to other country (when I have money …xD). And in one of this travels, I must go to Greece . This place I found very interesting and fabulous. Is a historical place, recognize around of the wide world, as one more beautiful lands.

Its constructions, its history and the mythic ambient that evolve the city, is something that I like it.

I have many illusions and I can visit these places. I hope travel to Greece  around of the next year, and I could to go with some friends and to make one million things interesting. I feel much attraction for these places, its beaches and its people. Moreover, its culture is very famous in the entire world, specially its mythology. When I grow up as professional, it takes me holidays in this mystic place. I could go to the different places, and I know that I will can. Here was born Platón and Aristóteles. Appeared the basis of the politic system more used in the world, the democracy.

In the other side, I know that visit this place I will be unforgotten and an experience incredible and fantastic.
